At first I blamed everything on fatigue - exams, cramming tickets at night - but then I realized that it was just the structure of my eyes. However, I did not know how to solve this problem. When I was young, blepharoplasty was not practiced.
How did I decide to have surgery?
But with age everything only got worse. Wrinkles began to appear, the whole face slowly crept down, and the eyelids, naturally, went there first. And I'm a school teacher! I didn't feel any serious pain. Yes, several injections were given, it’s disgusting. But the numbness came very quickly, so there was no discomfort. I convinced myself that everything would be okay and tried to relax and think about pleasant things. After the anesthesia wore off, I still felt like I was being touched, but I didn't feel any pain or anything. There was only pressure, nothing more.

Only at the end of the operation the doctor cauterized something, so I felt something similar to an electric shock. Unfortunately, I know this feeling; I once had to repair the meter on the landing because the electricity went out. But that’s not about that now. There were no further discomforts during the operation. But after the operation there was bleeding. This is not for the faint of heart. Blood fills the eyes so that it is impossible to open them.
Postoperative period
However, the doctors quickly stopped the bleeding with wipes soaked in a special solution, which I applied to my eyes. Then they gave me a sleeping pill injection and I fell asleep. I only woke up in the morning and saw a very swollen purple face. Alexander Yuryevich said that this is a normal reaction of the body to injury.
After the examination, I went home, where I continued to follow the recommendations of my surgeon. The bruises went away in 12 days, the worst swelling subsided even earlier. Naturally, at the end of the second week after the operation, I applied heavy foundation to hide the remaining yellow bruises on my cheekbones, but these are minor things. Three weeks later I already saw the finished result of blepharoplasty!
