- What is “ferul peeling”?
- Indications for the procedure
- Restrictions
- Stages of the procedure
- Price
Ferulic peeling is one of the types of superficial chemical peeling.
The main active ingredient is alpha hydroxide, or fruit acids, found in the jelly of the stems of the ferula plant. They are biological active substances enclosed in microscopic capsules. Due to their minimal size, such substances easily penetrate through the surface layers of the skin into the dermis, where they deliver all the necessary nutrients. It is thanks to nanotechnology, appropriate particle sizes and their easy penetration through skin pores that the procedure is highly effective. It is noted
- development of antioxidant action;
- production of collagen and elastin;
- cleansing effect;
- development of anti-inflammatory effect.
Indications
The main indications for ferul peeling are:
- age-related changes;
- signs of photoaging;
- acne and post-acne;
- hyperpigmentation;
- cicatricial skin changes;
- enlarged facial pores;
- dark circles under the eyes.
The procedure is characterized by safety. It can be carried out even in the summer. An essential feature is its painlessness. At the same time, there are no such typical manifestations of any peeling as burning and subsequent peeling. It can be one of the methods of preparing the skin for the summer season, as it prevents the negative effects of sunlight.
The only restrictions for the procedure are:
- allergic reaction to one of the components of the product;
- the presence of purulent and acute inflammatory processes of the skin;
- herpetic process;
- violation of the integrity of the skin;
- facial skin neoplasms.

Progress of the procedure
The steps of the procedure are standard. First, the cosmetologist removes makeup and cleanses the face. At the next stage, ferul peeling is applied directly. The exposure time is at least 5-15 minutes, after which the product is washed off with water. The final stage consists of applying a soothing mask and cream. To obtain the desired effect, 7-8 procedures are prescribed with an interval of one week. The procedure can also be carried out at home. However, the effectiveness of such actions will be significantly lower, since an experienced cosmetologist monitors the skin’s reaction at every stage and carries out corrective actions on the spot. Any peelings are very active procedures, so it is the specialist who must determine the indications for their implementation.
