Facial peeling Beauty Med Peel Therapy Salicylic Acid - Salicylic peeling - reviews

Salicylic peeling MedicControlPeel (Russia) 15 and 25% has a keratolytic and pronounced anti-inflammatory effect, is superficial-medium, depending on the number of layers applied. Salicylic peeling is used in the complex treatment of acne and seborrhea. The cause of the appearance of inflammatory elements in acne is the blockage of the excretory ducts of the sebaceous glands with sebum mixed with keratinized cells of the epidermis. Salicylic acid effectively combats the cause of blockages, since it helps remove dead skin cells from the surface of the skin and has a so-called keratolytic effect. In addition, salicylic peeling promotes the healing of inflammatory elements due to the pronounced antibacterial effect of salicylic acid. And since salicylic acid is fat-soluble, it dissolves perfectly in sebum and penetrates quite deeply, promoting the healing of deep inflammatory elements.

Salicylic peeling is also used in complex rejuvenation programs; it is excellent for patients with oily skin when skin renewal, cleansing and treatment of inflammation are required.

Contraindications to the procedure

  • Herpes in the acute stage
  • Skin damage (scratches, excoriations)
  • Acute infectious diseases
  • Epilepsy and mental illness
  • Some skin diseases in the acute stage

Salicylic peeling 20% BTpeel, 10 ml.

Salicylic acid does not belong to the group of fruit acids often used in modern peeling therapy - the component is classified as BHA (beta hydroxy acid). This BHA has keratolytic, anti-inflammatory and antiseptic effects. It is characterized by fairly high lipophilicity and causes exfoliation of the epidermis at the mouth of the hair follicle, thereby preventing the formation of comedones. Salicylic peeling has a moderate irritating effect and does not penetrate into the deeper layers of the skin, which, in turn, reduces the possibility of side effects during the post-peeling period.

Indications for use:

  • Seborrhea
  • Acne
  • Actinic hyperkeratosis
  • Skin microrelief disorders
  • Senile lentigo
  • Actinic hyperkeratosis
  • Fading skin
  • Post-acne scars

IMPORTANT! Salicylic peeling 20% BTpeel has a very low pH (=1.9), it is necessary to use a NEUTRALIZER to complete the procedure, avoid contact with eyes!

Ingredients: Salicylic acid

Acid concentration: 20%

Acid shift (pH): 1.9

Directions for use: Wipe the skin with Exfoliant Emulsion with Glycolic Acid and BTpeel Peptide Complex, wait until it is completely absorbed. Apply the peeling solution to the skin using cotton swabs or a cotton sponge, avoiding the area around the eyes and lips. Exposure time is from 1 to 10 minutes, depending on the type and individual characteristics of the skin. It is allowed to apply up to 4 layers of peeling with an exposure of 1-2 minutes between layers. During application of the drug, the patient feels a burning sensation. Within 1-2 minutes, the liquid fraction evaporates and a white coating formed by salicylic acid crystals appears on the skin. By the homogeneity of the plaque, one can judge the uniformity of application of the peeling composition to all treated areas. Then you can apply the next layer. The number of layers is determined by the individual characteristics of the patient’s skin, indications, as well as the desired depth of peeling. The peeling should be neutralized 1-2 minutes after applying the last layer. If there is severe redness of the skin or severe tingling (on a ten-point scale - above 5), the exposure should be stopped. To stop the action of acids (stop the peeling exposure), BTpeel Chemical Peel Neutralizer is applied to the skin. After applying the neutralizer, the burning sensation intensifies, but passes quickly, and the skin should eventually calm down. After 2-3 minutes, the neutralizer can be washed off with water. After the Salicylic Peeling procedure, it is recommended to use the Moisturizing Stimulating Mask with rose extract and BTpeel beeswax. To prolong and enhance the effect of peeling, starting from the next day after the procedure, use an exfoliant emulsion with glycolic acid and the BTpeel peptide complex daily (in the evening).

Storage conditions: Relative humidity no more than 70%. Keep away from heat sources and out of reach of children. Keep away from direct sunlight.

Shelf life: 24 months

Advantages and disadvantages of salicylic peeling

The advantages of salicylic peeling include: high efficiency in the treatment of acne and seborrhea, anti-inflammatory effect, low cost of the procedure. Peeling is effective in the treatment of acne, since it immediately affects several links in the pathogenesis of this disease. Firstly, it dries out existing inflammatory elements, promoting their rapid healing. Secondly, it exfoliates the surface layers of epidermal cells and sebaceous gland ducts, which leads to a reduction in the appearance of new elements. The disadvantages of salicylic peeling include the presence of a rehabilitation period, manifested by peeling and lasting several days.

Hello dear Beauticians! I want to tell you about my home peeling with glycolic acid Pheel Therapy from Beauty Med

From the Manufacturer:

Helps reduce visible signs of aging.

Ivy extract, Florentine iris extract, zinc, Vitamin A, oyster shell extract.
Glycolic acid content 10%. Directions for use:
Apply a few drops to clean, dry skin, avoiding the eye area.
Leave on for a maximum of 5 minutes before rinsing. Then apply moisturizer. If irritation occurs, stop treatment. From me:
I came across this peeling by accident while browsing the Internet.
I read it, called, consulted, and I liked the description. I bought it. It was scary to use it the first time, especially since using acids except with a cosmetologist is generally fraught with danger. First I applied it to my forehead, I thought, well, if anything I can cover it with bangs. After 5 minutes, the skin turned red, I washed off the product and waited about half an hour for the redness to subside. The forehead became smooth and shiny. Well, I think it’s okay, let me try it on my husband. The husband resisted, but was eventually anointed. After 5 minutes, the red-cheeked husband washed it off and examined it carefully. I liked the effect, and then I took a bath and smeared it all over my face, avoiding the eye area. After 5 minutes my face turned red and my skin tingled, I washed it off. The face was as if burned, like a mask. I went to bed... and the next morning... I saw my smooth, shiny, glossy face, fresh and pink. Since then we have been inseparable. I have been using it 2 times a week for 2 years. Glycolic acid perfectly exfoliates dead cells. I don't use it in the summer. Then I showed it to the cosmetologist - she said that 10 percent acid is a completely normal home option, use it for your health. This is how my experiment turned out to be successful. The smell of the product is quite tolerable, chemical, with a perfume scent. As for getting rid of blackheads and acne, I can’t say, I don’t have them. The product is very economical, this bottle lasts me for 1 year. A little from medicine
: Glycolic or hydroxyacetic acid belongs to the group of alpha hydroxy acids (AHA) or fruit acids. It is found in large quantities in unripe grapes, sugar cane and beets. This organic compound has high penetrating ability compared to related substances due to its smallest molecule size. This property has become one of the main reasons for its use in cosmetology practice as an exfoliating agent for chemical peeling. The penetration depth of the acid is determined by the concentration of the solution and the exposure time. By using glycolic acid, dead skin cells are removed from the surface of the skin and the ducts of the sebaceous glands are cleaned. As a result, the process of secretion and outflow of sebum is normalized, the skin becomes more susceptible to the penetration of cosmetics and medications. Hydroxyacetic acid stimulates the synthesis of collagen and hyaluronic acid, normalizes metabolic processes and skin microcirculation. This allows you to effectively combat hyperkeratosis, acne, seborrhea, cellulite, ichthyosis, photoaging, including increased dryness and sagging skin. It has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects, prevents the formation of melanin and helps eliminate various pigmentation disorders. Chemical peeling using glycolic acid is less traumatic compared to mechanical peeling. It allows you to prevent the formation of scar tissue and effectively eliminate stretch marks, ingrown hairs, fine wrinkles, comprehensively rejuvenate the skin, give it firmness and elasticity due to additional hydration.

Contraindications to the procedure

are acute infectious conditions, skin diseases, injuries in the form of open wounds, spider veins, as well as pregnancy and breastfeeding. Side effects of peeling usually occur as a result of violations of the procedure. The most common of these are increased exposure time and insufficiently complete neutralization of the acid. This leads to the accumulation of aggressive substances in the skin and an uncontrollable effect. In addition, to neutralize hydroxyacetic acid, you should use only specially designed solutions, since they are the gentlest and fastest to achieve a good result. Frequent or improper use of glycolic acid leads to neurogenic disorders, redness, peeling, and increased sensitivity - skin sensitization. All of these negative consequences can be avoided by accurately selecting the concentration of the acid solution and the time of its exposure. In this case, the nature of the problem being solved and the individual characteristics of the skin should be taken into account. Hydroxyacetic acid can be used in chemical peeling either alone or as part of complex preparations, for example, in combination with other fruit acids or alkaline additives.

I would like to say something about acid neutralization. A cosmetologist neutralizes acids with a special composition, but these are highly concentrated acids, about 70%. Regarding this product, the cosmetologist said that water is quite enough. I thoroughly wash it off my face and apply night cream. During all this time there were no negative feelings.

How does the procedure work?

Before the procedure, the patient's skin is cleansed with foam containing the enzymes bromelain and papain. Enzymes remove surface impurities and the top layers of dead skin cells. Then the cosmetologist wipes the patient’s face with an alcohol-based degreasing solution. Next, peeling is applied. In our practice, we use salicylic peeling 15% and 25%. During the procedure, the patient feels a pronounced burning sensation. After several minutes of exposure, the drug is washed off with cool water. The final stage is the application of post-peeling and sunscreen creams.

Recommendations for post-procedure care

After the salicylic peeling procedure for the face, it is not recommended to visit a bathhouse or sauna for a week, and visiting solariums is contraindicated. 20-30 minutes before going outside, it is necessary to apply sunscreen to the skin at any time of the year, including in cloudy weather, since ultraviolet radiation can penetrate through clouds and cause hyperpigmentation. During the period of peeling, it is recommended to apply a restorative post-peeling cream.

To achieve a pronounced clinical effect, a course of procedures is carried out. Already after the first procedure, inflammation decreases, the skin becomes less oily, pores shrink, and complexion improves.

* There are contraindications. A doctor's consultation is required.

Facial peeling Beauty Med Peel Therapy Salicylic Acid - Salicylic peeling - reviews

An oily liquid with a bitter aroma, reminiscent of men's perfume. When applied, only a sour vinegar smell remains. All this beauty is in a 50 ml glass bottle with a built-in pipette in the lid. The feeling on the face during application is not very pleasant, it feels like the whole face was covered with greasy lip gloss. The slightest hair shamelessly sticks to the face, so before applying I advise you to carefully tuck your hair into your hair.

My skin is "before". Enlarged pores, quickly becomes oily, blackheads, fine wrinkles.

before

Tightens pores, brightens the skin, makes it matte. After peeling, any cream applies well. The instructions say to leave it on the skin for 5 minutes, I went for an hour or two, once I left it on overnight. No horrors happened. And once I applied it unevenly and a droplet got on my lips, I accidentally licked it off. Again, nothing bad happened, my tongue didn’t get blistered, I just felt a sour taste (lemon is even sour). Skin after application. Judge for yourself, in my opinion it’s a little better, right?

I used it every evening for a month, kept it on longer than recommended, in short, not according to the instructions.

I’ll explain why: the manufacturer is a little disingenuous with the composition.

A marketing ploy to attract buyers, that's all)))).
Peeling with 10% acid content. Not acids
, in this case salicylic, but acids!!! Let's look at the composition:

sorbeth-30, water (aqua), silica, mandelic acid, glycerin, salicylic acid, propylene glycol, citric acid, lactic acid, triethanolamine, glycolic acid, fragrance (parfum), phenoxyethanol, malic acid, tartaric acid, bisabolol, chlorphenesin, citrus medica limonum (lemon) fruit extract, pyrus malus (apple) fruit extract, saccharum officinarum (sugar cane) extract, vaccinium myrtillus extract, vitis vinifera (grape) leaf extract, methylparaben

It contains 7 acids, with salicylic acid in second place. The percentage of how much is of course not indicated. That is, 10% is not the concentration of salicylic acid, but of all acids, at best there is 2% SALICYL.

. From this I conclude that the product is approximately equal in effectiveness to salicylic-zinc paste from the pharmacy for 30 rubles, although this thing is washed off easier)))! I think it’s the same story with glycolic peeling (I’m talking about the acid content) of this brand. + the trick about “no longer than 5 minutes” really works, willy-nilly you begin to believe that this is not a joke, but a serious remedy, and you treat peeling with special respect.

When this “miracle” ends, I see no point in buying it again. I’ll go back to the good old pharmacy zinc-salicylic acid. + I’ll do a mid-peeling in the salon in the fall.

Correct me if I'm wrong, I don't want to be disappointed. It’s just that I, like many girls, had high hopes for THIS product.
