All about the permanent eyebrow makeup procedure – Eternal Beauty

Permanent is a colored pigment that is injected under a thin layer of skin. Are you interested in the procedure for permanent eyebrow makeup? Reviews talk about a lot of advantages, but there are also dissatisfied ones. Many girls are afraid to decide on a service because of pain, the risk of spoiling their appearance, and far-fetched fears. The best way to stop being afraid is to thoroughly understand the essence of the issue.

Allows you to outline a beautiful contour, create the illusion of thickness and brightness of the native shade of the eyebrows

In simple terms, permanent is a colored pigment that is injected under a thin layer of skin. It allows you to outline a beautiful contour, create the illusion of thickness and brightness of the native shade of the eyebrows.

So, let's have a good understanding of the stages of implementation, types and tips for caring for tattoos. Let's start with video material about its pros and cons.

The essence of the procedure

Eyebrows play an important role in creating a well-groomed and graceful bow. No makeup is considered complete without working on this area. Many types of cosmetics are produced: lipsticks, pencils, mascaras, shadows, special eyeliners. In beauty salons they learned how to paint arches with henna or a special coloring composition. But all these methods are short-lived. This is why the permanent has become so popular and in demand among women.

It lasts for at least 2 years, does not require intermediate correction (except for one a few weeks after the first application), and looks graceful and elegant. Gradually fades, imperceptibly to the surrounding eye.

What does the word permanent mean? It is translated from English as “permanent”, “unchanging”, “long lasting”.

Lasts at least 2 years, does not require intermediate correction

Is it correct to call the service tattoo? The answer is yes, because essentially you are getting a tattoo. It’s just that the depth to which the paint is injected into the dermis is much less. This is why a classic tattoo remains on the body almost all of one’s life, only slightly losing its brightness and clarity. And after a couple of years the permanent disappears completely.

On a note! Did you know that the ancient Egyptians first started decorating their faces in this way? They completely shaved off the native hair and painted bold arcs with special paint, which was also injected under the skin.

Watercolor technique

Watercolor tattooing can not be done in all salons. Its essence is as follows: using a machine, the master applies dye to the skin, creating beautiful and natural transitions. Attempts to increase thickness or length are impossible if the girl does not have enough hair to do so. The peculiarity of this technique is that the borders are not drawn, only the inner area is painted over. The technique allows you to create the look of a natural eyebrow.

Since the pigment is sprayed onto the skin and hairs, it does not penetrate deep into the skin, but is located on the upper layers. In this technique, the dye penetrates the skin the least when compared with all existing types. But despite this, the discoloration of makeup does not occur dramatically over time, so the result lasts for at least 3 years. Experts say that with proper care, the effect will last even longer.

Not all cosmetologists can do such a tattoo, as it requires complex skills that must be learned in art courses for cosmetologists. This is done so that the master can correctly select and evaluate the shades of colors and types that suit the girl, as well as make smooth transitions.

Advantages and disadvantages

This make-up has a lot of positive aspects. Among them the following stand out:

  • Save time on daily makeup. The paint does not need to be applied or removed;
  • Consistency of appearance throughout the whole day. Eyebrows will not “flow” either in the gym or in the pool;
  • You create the perfect shape;
  • Achieve symmetry;
  • Control the desired thickness;
  • You correct naturally sparse vegetation and achieve the desired density;
  • You can choose any color;

Advice! Brunettes are recommended to choose a tone as close as possible to their native one. And blondes should choose a color that is 5-6 shades darker. Remember, over time the shade fades and fades away.

  • Suitable for girls with skin sensitive to cosmetic ingredients. Including those with allergies.
  • Ubiquity. Every decent salon today includes a first-class master. There will be no problems finding a specialist.

Save time on daily makeup.
The paint does not need to be applied or removed. To be honest and objective, we must also examine the disadvantages:

  • You cannot wash off or change an unsuccessful contour. You will have to be patient for at least six months;
  • The risk of running into a bad specialist. The result will be asymmetry, incorrect pigment tone;
  • The likelihood of infection in the body;
  • The need for repeated correction after the main stage. Performed in 2-4 weeks;
  • High prices. In a good salon, with a master with a well-deserved reputation, you will have to pay a tidy sum.

Attention! Do not under any circumstances try to save money on an office. Be wary if there are bad reviews, the inside is untidy, and there is no special treatment room. Even if you really like the price, run away from there as fast as you can. You risk getting to a master without experience. The poor quality of a permanent is nothing compared to the likelihood of ruining your health.

The last disadvantage is pain. Like any tattoo done with a needle, permanent makeup is accompanied by pain. Fortunately, there are few nerve endings at the site of the arches, so the sensation is quite tolerable. In addition, you will be anesthetized with lidocaine or its equivalent.

Important! Make sure you have a test done before undergoing anesthesia. To avoid the development of an allergic reaction. This manipulation should be among the natural and self-evident. Otherwise, you should think about the reliability of the establishment.

Do your eyebrows deteriorate after tattooing?

It is a big mistake to think that this makeup spoils the natural hairs, destroys the hair follicles, and prevents their growth. The pigment is introduced so close to the surface that it is not able to affect deeper layers.

You correct naturally sparse vegetation and achieve the desired density

The same can be said about skin. You don't do much damage to her. Firstly, the tattoo area is very small. Secondly, the stuffing method is gentle. Thirdly, in this place the skin is inactive and does not come into contact with clothing. Therefore, you will definitely not speed up the appearance of wrinkles and sagging.

I believe that permanent makeup is a real chance to improve your appearance. The main thing is to go to a good doctor. Using this procedure, you can correct asymmetry and various imperfections, add clarity to the contours, and visually increase the volume itself.

Permanent lip makeup is a popular procedure necessary to add brightness, fullness, and eliminate imperfections.

Suitable for young girls and mature ladies. To obtain the desired result, you must trust trusted specialists, follow contraindications and rules of care.

Popular varieties

What tattooing methods do you know? We will analyze this issue in detail so that there are no gaps in knowledge. The difference between the methods lies in the technique of introducing the composition into the dermis:

  • Shading. The most popular equipment over the past 15 years. It implies the same principle as when tinting arches with a cosmetic pencil. First, outline the desired contour. Then carefully fill the light gaps with paint. Achieve perfect shading;
  • Microblading. Looks more natural. As in the previous paragraph, the master carefully works out the outlines. And then, with the finest strokes, he completes the missing eyebrows inside.

Note. If you have thin and delicate skin, microblading may not be suitable for you. Try using a more gentle technique. Spraying should not be done for women with sparse hair, as well as with a large number of gray hairs.

  • Powder eyebrows. The method is also called spraying. One of the newest, less painful and in demand among women. It allows you to achieve easy color correction, without clear boundaries. The coloring preparation is injected inside to a minimum depth in a very small amount. The result looks natural and fresh. Not bright, but expressive.

The difference between the methods lies in the technique of introducing the composition into the dermis

Pixel spraying

When using the permanent makeup technique, pixel shading involves the introduction of pigment under the skin in minimal quantities.

In pixel tattooing, pigment is applied pointwise to the skin using a special tattoo machine. If you look at the device more closely, it evenly sprays the dye on the places where the master guides it.

The technique does not make natural hair resemble natural hair, since it does not have such clear, bright contours from birth. But it looks as if the girl tinted her natural eyebrows a little with eyeliner or eyeshadow. Changing the look and shape with pixel spraying will not work, since small dots are drawn - the entire area is painted over, not individual hairs.

The species has such an unusual name because of its similarity to pixels (the smallest details) in computer slang. Painting the area occurs with dots, and they look like pixels that penetrate the skin.

Due to the fact that painting occurs by splashing, there is little pigment under the skin. In addition, it appears on the upper layers of the epidermis, and not on the lower ones. Therefore, the dye quickly becomes dull, which necessitates frequent corrections. The first visit to a cosmetologist occurs after the recovery period. Then the master sets the first date for correction, which the client can subsequently adjust.

Stages of the procedure

The event requires preliminary preparation. It is recommended to take a course of immunostimulating vitamins a couple of weeks before the “X” day. For 2-3 days, do not drink alcohol, coffee and medications that thin the blood. Otherwise it will bleed a lot. By the way, women should not get tattoos during their menstrual periods.

Permanent eyebrow makeup, reviews confirm this, is performed quickly, and the effect is visible immediately.

  • First of all, the specialist will clean the skin, remove makeup, and slightly correct the natural shape of the arches with tweezers;
  • Degrease and dry the surface with a soft cloth;
  • Clearly draws contours with a colored pen and coordinates the shape with the client;
  • Give an injection of lidocaine. Sometimes a cream is used instead of an injection, but its period of action is shorter.
  • Next, a special electric device with a needle will begin to inject dye under the skin;
  • During the process, the area is regularly wiped with a swab soaked in antiseptic;
  • Finally, the eyebrows are treated with a disinfectant composition.

It is impossible to paint the entire area evenly the first time. After 2-4 weeks, you will be scheduled for retouching or correction. During this period, the wound will completely heal and the pigment will take its place inside. Unpainted areas, irregularities and defects will become clearly visible. During retouching, the technology is repeated, but it usually takes half as much time.

First, the shape is drawn with a colored pen and agreed upon with you

Good to know! Do not under any circumstances try to interrupt the features of a permanent with another method. Neither pencil nor shadows can handle this. If you absolutely do not like the result, use a laser to remove tattoos. Unfortunately, it is not possible to reduce the color in one step. On average, 5-8 approaches are required. Prepare your wallet for your diet.

Permanent eyebrow makeup - reviews

Permanent makeup will only enhance naturally beautiful eyebrows that have tiny point imperfections, for example, one eyebrow slightly shorter than the other or a small scar where hairs do not grow. If you are planning to radically change the color, width or shape of your eyebrows, or draw on eyebrows that don’t exist, I hasten to disappoint you, even the most wonderful artist is not able to create such a miracle. The eyebrows will not look natural; you can immediately see that they are drawn, although on the other hand, if you draw them with shadows or a pencil, then there is no difference. Just remember both are dumb!

Goal: Beautiful eyebrows for a long time. Result: Before the first correction, the pigment of the tears was 70 percent. After the correction, I got the same color that I wanted the first time, I’ve been going for more than 6 months, but I notice that a little more and I have to go for correction again.

Permanent tattoo inks do not stain the skin. After a couple of years, the pigment begins to fade due to natural changes occurring in the skin, and then disappears. These permanent paints are quite expensive. You need to carefully choose a specialist and read reviews. To save money, careless artists add permanent tattoo ink, perpetuating it on the eyebrows for life! Therefore, the eyebrow turns out to be a terrible black color, and after a while a bluish tint forms around it.

Good afternoon. For a long time I was looking for a master who I could trust to do permanent eyebrows, because... I’ve already done this in several places before, and they ruined my form. I had to constantly paint with shadows. I really liked Alena, they gave me a beautiful eyebrow shape, and everything healed quickly, not like before. They look at me, say that I look good and don’t understand what changes have happened)))) it was interesting to watch people’s reactions)) After that, I decided to use arrows with shading, Alena did the same. I was always afraid of this procedure, I thought it would hurt a lot, but it turned out to be just a little unpleasant. Thanks Alena for the wonderful result. All liked it

I had my eyebrows done by Christina. Of course I expected a good result, but I got even more. The result is amazing. Thank you for a job well done. The eyebrows are now perfect. When I came to work, our employees immediately noticed changes for the better. Many praised, and many envied. Thank you Christina for your professionalism in your business.

I have my eyebrows done.

I’ll never decide on winged lines and lips - I don’t like it, I did my eyebrows because they are naturally crooked - one is slightly taller than the other and there’s no way to fix this with simple plucking.

and running around with a pencil all the time is not an option.

In short, I spent a long time choosing a specialist and reading reviews. in the end I did. Since my eyebrows are thick, it looks very natural - the shape is wonderful.

after me, 3 of my friends went to the same master.

I decided to spray it because I was terribly tired of drawing on my eyebrows every day (which were almost invisible). Six months have passed since the procedure, and now I am the owner of perfect eyebrows.

Girls, I want to share my impressions! For about a year I wanted to get my eyebrows tattooed, but I couldn’t decide. There's a new employee at work with gorgeous eyebrows and permanent makeup! This put an end to my hesitation - to do or not to do. She had her eyebrows done by Valida Mamedova, her eyebrows were excellent, beautiful, neat and natural, and how surprised I was when I found out that these eyebrows were almost a year old!) And then I decided to go to this studio, made an appointment with a specialist, came for a consultation, where I answered all my scrupulous questions. I ended up with Mashenka - a great person and a good master. She made my eyebrows using a light shading technique. We worked with anesthesia, because I was very afraid of any pain, and it took about an hour. They healed quickly, soon I’ll have to go to Mashenka for correction) Now they look very natural, but at the same time they have changed my face for the better. Very pleased with both the artist and the studio. Thank you.

Advantages:

get perfect eyebrows

Flaws:

expensive, uncomfortable, unpleasant healing period

To all friends and readers of sata review, good day! Today my review is about beauty, or rather about its creation. We all know that today (as in the good old movie about office romance) eyebrows are of enormous importance, but their shape has changed a little since then. This is no longer a raised thread of surprise, but an elegant natural wide eyebrow. Not everyone is naturally blessed with beautiful, thick, well-shaped eyebrows. Constant plucking leads to the fact that hairs stop growing, but you really want to have beautiful eyebrows. Today, you probably won’t surprise anyone with permanent makeup, it has existed for a very long time, although before it was not so common among women, few people did it, they were afraid and apparently there were not many masters. At the moment, every second person imagines himself as a master after completing short tattoo courses, which is why it is very important in this case to find a true professional in his field. Previously, before tattooing, my eyebrows looked like this: They seemed good, but I wanted a clearer, beautiful shape, and more symmetry, since by nature eyebrows have slightly different shapes. I searched for a master for a very long time, or to be more precise, I found it quickly - it took me a long time to decide. We have a small town and only about three or four craftsmen work for us in this field of activity. PROCEDURE: I looked at and admired the work of my master for a long time, but kept putting it off. I want to say that high-quality permanent makeup is not a cheap pleasure; I paid 4 thousand rubles for mine in 2022. Correction after 3 months 2 thousand rubles. There is no need to prepare for tattooing, I just cleansed the skin with a scrub on my face and that’s it. I did this procedure in the summer, which I regretted a little (I’ll tell you why later), correction in the fall. Contraindications also exist - pregnancy, lactation and diabetes (according to the master). So, the whole tattooing process took about 40 minutes, maybe more. First, the master drew a sketch on my eyebrows with a pencil, corrected the shape and plucked out excess hairs. She showed it to me. Of course, when I saw this beauty, my such beautiful eyebrows, I gasped and I liked the sketch. Then I lay down on the couch and anesthesia was applied to my eyebrows. I lay there for 15-20 minutes until the anesthetic took effect. When the technician started turning on the machine, that’s when I started to get afraid, it was buzzing unpleasantly, but there was nowhere to retreat, especially since I decided. At the beginning of the work, everything seemed tolerable to me, by the way. It was unpleasant in some places, especially on the bridge of the nose. But I tried to abstract myself and not think about the sensations. The eyebrows were filled one at a time, taking breaks several times. At the end of the work, I thought that blood would flow in a stream, but when I stood up and picked up the mirror, I didn’t notice any bruises, only beautiful eyebrows. Here is a photo of my eyebrows right after the tattoo, when I came home. Unusually bright, but this is only the beginning they will be like that. I chose the “Watercolor” application technique, because for me it’s the one. For example, powder or nano-spraying, after the crusts come off they are practically invisible, I don’t see any point in doing them, anyway, the girls then tint them with a pencil. I didn’t want to touch up anything, I got up and went. Microblading is also not really my thing, especially since there are not many masters of this technique (who do it really well). CARE: a little about tattoo care. My master gave me chlorhesidine and a special ointment (vaseline). For the first 2 days, you need to wipe (do not press too hard) your eyebrows with a cotton pad soaked in chlorhexidine every 2 hours. Then, on days 3, 4, 5, apply ointment to the eyebrows at night. IMPORTANT: You can’t get your eyebrows wet for 5 days. This one turned out to be the most difficult for me, because it was summer, it was hot, my face was sweating, and it was impossible to wash it without getting my eyebrows caught. Tell me how to wash my hair??? Somehow I held out, I had to wash my hair by putting on a child’s protective visor, but it didn’t really protect my eyebrows from getting wet. HEALING PERIOD: So, after the procedure, you cannot wet your eyebrows, and you need to lubricate them with Vaseline. Then the most interesting part begins, and in my opinion the most unpleasant part of this procedure - the removal of the crusts. This process begins with the gradual coarsening of the surface layer containing the dye. You can wet your eyebrows at this moment, but you should still avoid excessive wetting, because this will cause extreme itching, you’ll want to rip everything off, but this is ABSOLUTELY IMPOSSIBLE!!! Just like tearing off the crusts yourself, otherwise you will end up with bald spots. In general, for me it was a severe ordeal; my eyebrows itched to the point of impossibility, I lubricated them a little with panthenol (although they are not recommended) and this relieved the itching a little. I don’t know how I endured it, let me remind you that it was summer and the heat was incredible. So, the scabs came off and the eyebrows became lighter: I walked like this for about three months; it is recommended to go for correction no earlier than 1.5 months later. But I decided to extend the time a little, which is also allowed. I had a little bald spot, the crust came off along with the dye, one eyebrow came out well, the other a little unevenly. CORRECTION: In the fall, I signed up for a correction, I thought it would go the same way as a tattoo, but to my surprise, it was incredibly painful, probably twice as painful. It was really hard to bear. The master explained this by saying that the skin was still a little traumatized, which is why it was bleeding and painful. BUT the process itself did not last long. Immediately after correction, my eyebrows themselves no longer looked overly bright as they did the first time. Photo immediately after correction, if you look closely you can see wounds and dried blood. Treatment after correction is similar, chlorgesidine and petroleum jelly. In the fall it was easier, it wasn’t so hot anymore, and I just washed the lower part of my face as usual and wiped the upper part with a cotton pad soaked in the same chlorhexidine. It lasted like that for 5 days. BUT again, when you wash your unhealed eyebrows, they itch terribly, so after washing, I tried to immediately blot them with a towel. The crusts came off faster this time, but with the same unpleasant itching. after the crusts had completely gone away, the eyebrows were normal, without bald spots. Everything looked fine. So I went through almost half a year. Over time, I began to notice that the paint was gradually becoming lighter. The photo shows eyebrows six months later. They still look just as beautiful, but more natural, so to speak. I’m not going to make any corrections yet, everything is becoming outdated. Perhaps after a year I’ll update the view. Summing up the results of this procedure, I want to say about the advantages of permanent eyebrow makeup. Firstly, it’s very good that there is such an opportunity to correct your appearance. Yes, I had my own eyebrows, but there are women who don’t even have hairs in this area, and they have only one choice - permanent tattooing. This is a big plus of this procedure. The long-term effect is the second plus of tattooing; for at least half a year or a year you will have beautifully shaped eyebrows that don’t need to be tinted additionally (some people do, but I personally don’t). Saving time is the third plus; when getting ready for work in the morning, you don’t need to spend time on eyebrow makeup. In principle, beautiful eyebrows already decorate a woman; you can simply tint the wings, eyelashes, lips and that’s it. About the cons! The first one is expensive! A good master knows the value of his work. Secondly, it is difficult to find a good master in this field of activity, especially in Malenko. The third one is a bit painful (especially the correction), you need to be patient. However, this is all individual. The fourth is the uncomfortable period of tattoo healing. Considering all the pros and cons, I confidently recommend everyone to try permanent eyebrow makeup, a person should be beautiful in everything! Thank you all for your attention and see you soon!

Advantages:

for a long time, of course

Flaws:

The procedure is expensive; in our salons it costs 5-6 thousand.

Good day everyone! Today is my review of the cosmetic procedure Permanent Eyebrow Makeup. An expressive look is not only about thick and long eyelashes; a lot depends on the shape and color of the eyebrows. Completely colorless eyebrows make your face dull, there is no brightness, even if you have bright lips and expressive eyes! No amount of super bright makeup can save you. Since I was 15 years old, I have been drawing my eyebrows, I just drew them, since they are naturally light; at a young age I plucked them unsuccessfully, and a childhood scar on my eyebrow (although it is not visible, hair does not grow on it) forced me to draw. Later I bought waterproof eyebrow pencils. Everything is wrong, you are constantly afraid to rub your eyebrow and lose part or all of your eyebrow at the wrong moment. I did Permanent Eyebrow Makeup for the first time in 2013, at that time this procedure was still new and not cheap (although it is not cheap now). The procedure itself lasted 2 hours, during which time it included choosing the shape and pencil drawing of the eyebrows that we will do, as well as a photo (all errors are visible on the digital plane), after which the master prepares the devices, needle, and paint in front of me. The device itself is not bad, almost silent. The master made a contour for me, then applied a numbing gel, followed by shading. It doesn't hurt! A slight tingling sensation is felt, but not critical. I fell asleep while the master was working. The first impression was “WOW, SO BRIGHT,” I had to take care of my eyebrows for a week, crusts formed that could not be peeled off. After a week everything came off, it wasn’t bad at all, but it was a little light for me. A month later, correction. The procedure was the same as the first one, but they didn’t draw a form for me. Eight months later, there was practically nothing left of my eyebrows. I returned to drawing. In January 2022, I did Permanent Eyebrow Makeup again, how everything has changed! Application technique, color selection (the color was mixed from several colors), after the procedure there were no crusts, just slight peeling. I'm incredibly happy with my eyebrows now! Made it for a promotion! Discount on the procedure! I stole a few photos from the master who did it for me. I hope he won't mind!!! You can see for yourself how a woman transforms! What an expressive look! I recommend it!!!

All about the healing period

Treat this interval with full responsibility, because the stability of the permanent depends on it. Proper care will speed up healing and reduce pain.

Immediately after the needle is completed, the eyebrows will be smeared with a special product that prevents drying out. However, after a few hours it will be absorbed, and the wound will heal with a dense crust.

  • Don't be alarmed if you notice slight swelling. It will subside within a day at most. Do not peel off the crust under any circumstances. You can extract the dye, cause an infection, and aggravate the depth of the wound.
  • Do not scratch the tattoo area;
  • Lubricate the area with panthenol cream a couple of times a day. “Bepanten” has proven itself to be excellent. It accelerates healing, has disinfecting and wound-healing properties. Do not spread too greasy, blot off excess with a napkin. Otherwise the wound will get wet;
  • After 4-5 days the crust will begin to fall off. A rough film is formed. They also don’t pay attention to it and don’t take any action. Normally, it will go away in 2-3 weeks.
  • After this, you can sign up for retouching.

Wound healing creams are applied with clean cotton swabs. During the healing period, do not use cosmetics. Do not wash with soap and water. Replace it with special cosmetics for cleansing the skin, which are applied with cotton pads.

Do not use cosmetics during the healing period

Under no circumstances should you prescribe medications for yourself. Especially alcohol-containing ones, antibiotics, hydrogen peroxide. First, they can change the color of the ink. And secondly, it will burn the skin and leave ugly scars.

Shadow technique

The shadow tattoo technique is popular among lovers of natural beauty. This type of permanent makeup has two categories that are now popular:

  1. Spraying. In this category, only the spaces between the hairs are colored with a machine, which creates a background for them and visually makes the eyebrows thicker and clearer. The chosen shade of pigment should not differ from the shade of the hairs, otherwise the overall picture will look ridiculous.
  2. Shadow painting. The method is similar to the previous one, but in it the drawing is done with borders and endings. The advantage of this method is the ability to darken the necessary places; usually the tail is made a couple of shades darker than the main color.

The shadow technique of applying dye involves the use of natural shades similar to the girl’s natural color. The result heals quickly, and a clear result is maintained for one year. If you do not make corrections after this, the shade will remain for about two years.

Contraindications

Before performing tattoo techniques, the client undergoes a medical examination and collects the necessary certificates certifying that she can undergo the procedure. There are many types of problems in which the use of tattoo techniques is prohibited:

  1. Skin diseases in the area of the superciliary arches, of any type. Using tattoo techniques when there is a problem can lead to a worsening of the skin disease.
  2. Pregnancy, this type of problem is harmless because after a while the tattoo will be resolved. It is also not recommended to get a tattoo while breastfeeding.
  3. If you are allergic to pigment components. A cosmetologist will be able to provide you with its composition, or after receiving tests, he will tell you whether you have an allergy.
  4. AIDS.
  5. Blood diseases.
