Nose job

The nose, due to its location, greatly influences the appearance. Changing the shape and size of the nose can have a significant effect on a person's appearance. This fact is one of the main reasons for the high prevalence of rhinoplasty surgery. The term “plastic” (Greek “plasticos” - fusible, changing shape) was first used to describe plastic surgery of the nose. This is a reliable fact and this makes rhinoplasty operations one of the first operations associated with the development of plastic surgery.

Changing the osteochondral structure of the nose surgically is called rhinoplasty. The purpose of this operation is to correct aesthetic and physical defects. The operation is used, for example, to eliminate the bony hump of the nose or the retraction of its back, or the curvature of the nose. Also, with the help of this operation it is possible to restore impaired nasal breathing, for example, after nasal injuries or chronic inflammatory diseases. Before nasal surgery, it is imperative to consult a surgeon. You need to know how technically feasible the correction is and whether the patient has any deformity at all. There are certain parameters for the size, shape of the nose, and its harmonious location relative to other organs on the face. Sometimes, in order to achieve a certain visual effect, not rhinoplasty surgery is performed, but, for example, correction of nasolabial folds or the forehead area. To achieve a successful result, the surgeon takes into account not only the skin, bone and cartilage, but also their interaction with breathing and the functions of the inside of the nose.

I would like to express my deep gratitude to the talented and responsible doctors/surgeons of the Angiosurgery Department. Based on the results of an ultrasound scan performed at the Institute, I got an appointment with the Chief Physician - angiosurgeon Askar Zheksenbievich Matkerimov, who made a diagnosis and, due to the urgency of the operation, immediately gave a referral to collect tests for the operation, promptly resolved all organizational issues and on June 29 I was hospitalized in department of angiosurgery to the attending physician Almas Sagyndykovich Shamshiev, who prescribed additional examination and drug treatment. On July 2, I had surgery, which was successful! I am very grateful to angiosurgeons Alexander Valentinovich and Abilzhanov Erzhan, who efficiently performed a high-tech and complex operation to stent the artery of the lower limb, explained and showed me on the screen the progress of the operation, as well as recommendations for postoperative recovery! The entire time I was at the Institute, I was under the constant supervision of Askar Zheksenbievich Matkerimov, who told me on the eve of the operation: “Don’t worry, everything will go well,” and that’s how it all happened!
