When is vaginal plastic surgery recommended?
Colporrhaphy is done in the following cases:

Existing treatments
There are a wide range of different treatments for vaginal relaxation syndrome on the market, such as behavioral treatments (Kegel exercises), drug therapies (hormonal medications, thickening creams and sprays) and various more or less invasive surgical procedures. There are several innovative treatments on the market, with the most popular being IntimaLase, a minimally invasive vaginal tightening procedure using an Er:YAG laser that uses photothermal interaction between the laser and the vaginal mucosa. Precisely controlled laser pulses deliver energy to the walls of the vagina and vulva, causing the tissue and collagen within it to heat up. Collagen is a fibrillar protein that forms the basis of vaginal tissue and provides its strength and elasticity.
