How to carry out the procedure at home?

Hardware and injection mesoprocedures are very popular among men and women, as they help improve the condition of the skin relatively quickly and painlessly. Unfortunately, their cost is not affordable for everyone; a full course can cost several tens of thousands.

Mesotherapy can be performed at home using a mesoroller (a device with a head covered with thin needles) and drugs purchased at a salon or pharmacy.

The home procedure has advantages over the salon procedure:

• Price.

Purchasing a device and a meso-cocktail will cost much less than the same procedure in a salon.

• Convenience.

The mesoprocedure can be done at a convenient time without disrupting your plans.

• Less injury.

The mesoscooter has short and very thin needles, so the skin is slightly injured.

The disadvantages of using meso-cocktails at home include:

• Less efficient than in the salon.

Shallow punctures deliver only a small part of the active components under the skin, and the composition of the product cannot be selected taking into account the characteristics of the skin.

• Risk of complications.

Carrying out a mesoprocedure requires sterility, which is not always possible to provide at home. In addition, without consulting a specialist, it is impossible to select the correct composition and find out about the presence of contraindications.

Before performing a mesoprocedure at home, you must visit a cosmetologist so that he can select a product taking into account the condition and needs of the skin. Mesococktail can be purchased at a salon, specialty store or pharmacy. They are also sold in numerous online stores, often at very attractive prices. Experts do not recommend using such products; there is a high probability of poor-quality composition.

You can only use ready-made meso-cocktails; you should not mix the components yourself, even if the cosmetologist described how to do it.

The slightest violation of the dosage can lead to dire consequences. When using the drug, you must strictly follow the recommendations specified in the instructions.

The effect of the procedure also depends on the mesoscooter; their range is quite large. When purchasing, you should pay attention to several points:

• the length of the needles should not exceed half a millimeter;
• acceptable needle material is pure steel or an alloy with impurities of noble metals;
• number of needles - the more there are, the more comfortable the procedure will be.

Mesotherapy at home is carried out as follows:

1. Disinfection of the device.

The mesoscooter must be soaked in medical alcohol for 3-5 minutes.

1. Skin cleansing.

It is necessary to wash your face with a soft gel product, wipe your skin with tonic or rinse your face with chamomile decoction and treat with an antiseptic.

1. Application of a product with an anesthetic effect.

It must be left on the skin for 10-15 minutes.

2. Facial massage with a mesoscooter.

It is performed strictly along the lymph flow lines at least 10 times each.

At home, the procedure can be performed once every 2-3 weeks after the skin has completely recovered.

To avoid complications, it is recommended to follow the following rules between procedures:

• do not drink alcoholic beverages;
• If possible, give up cigarettes (or reduce them to a minimum);
• do not drink coffee and energy drinks;
• do not visit the pool, sauna;
• do not go out in the sun without protective cream;
• do not use decorative cosmetics for 2-3 days;
• refuse scrubs, peelings and facial massage for a while;

Possible consequences

Using a mesoscooter traumatizes the skin, so swelling, redness, tightness and flaking are common reactions. Normally this should go away within a few days. If discomfort persists longer, or complications arise, you should consult a cosmetologist or dermatologist.

Complications that occur when performing mesoprocedures at home:

• skin infection and inflammation;
• formation of compactions under the skin;
• allergic reactions;
• tissue necrosis;
• lymph stagnation, swelling;
• atrophy of muscle tissue.
