When solving various aesthetic problems in cosmetology, one way or another, a combination of hardware methods with injection methods is used: biorevitalization, botulinum therapy, plasma lifting.

It is important to follow the correct sequence of manipulations, determined by the possibility of achieving the desired results, the principle of action and the duration of the effect of the methods and drugs used. And of course, always remember the main principle of a cosmetologist: “do no harm.”

If the sequence and technique are followed, the combination of fractional thermolysis with injection methods can enhance the effect or speed up the results.

What is Botox?

This is a drug based on botulinum toxin type A, which is injected into the facial muscles to weaken facial expressions and smooth out wrinkles. The active substance blocks nerve impulses to facial muscles, as a result, wrinkles become less noticeable.

Botox is injected only into the upper part of the face, because small expression wrinkles are concentrated there, which this drug works well with. Does not eliminate deep nasolabial folds.

Botox components are quickly eliminated from the body, but the effect lasts longer than six months with proper facial care.

Injections with botulinum toxin can be given from the age of 18, if it is really necessary. In most cases, cosmetologists advise young girls to use gentler techniques.

Comparison of action and other parameters

Anti-aging procedures have the same goal, but act differently.

BotoxBiorevitalization
PriceIn Moscow, the cost of injections in the forehead, between the eyebrows and in the area around the eyes is 30 thousand rubles, in St. Petersburg - from 26 thousand rubles.Depending on the cost of the drug, the price for biorevitalization in Moscow starts at 11 thousand rubles. In St. Petersburg, the procedure costs from 6 thousand rubles.
EfficiencyBotox injections effectively relieve a woman of facial wrinkles on the upper part of her face. The skin looks elastic and youthful. The first effect in the form of filling small wrinkles and filling the skin with moisture comes immediately after the procedure. After 2 weeks, the skin begins to produce its own hyaluronic acid, takes on a fresh and youthful appearance, and deeper wrinkles are smoothed out.
Duration of saving the resultTo maintain the rejuvenation effect, the procedure must be repeated every 4-5 months.A course of 3-5 biorevitalization sessions to maintain the filling effect must be carried out once every 6 months.

What is biorevitalization?

Point injection under the skin of a preparation based on hyaluronic acid. The active substance retains moisture in the skin, resulting in fewer wrinkles and returning smoothness and elasticity. Injections activate the production of hyaluronic acid in the body, so the biorevitalization effect appears not only due to the injected drug. The active production of collagen and elastin is launched, and subsequently the fibers fill the creases in the skin.

Biorevitalization helps get rid of puffiness, smooth out wrinkles, and eliminate age spots. Thanks to the action of hyaluronic acid, the skin becomes more elastic and acquires a healthy color.

For the best result, cosmetologists advise taking a course of biorevitalization, rather than a single procedure. Usually 3-4 sessions are enough. The effect of the drug is noticeable on average a week after the first procedure - this happens individually for each patient. In older people, the effect is especially pronounced.

You can start a course of biorevitalization at 27-30 years old and at an earlier age if the skin is severely dehydrated. After 50 years, the effectiveness of biorevitalization noticeably decreases, so the duration of courses is increased from 3-4 to 5-10 sessions.

Combination of Botox and biorevitalization

Cosmetologists believe that Botox injections and biorevitalization can be performed. The synergy of methods will hide pronounced age-related changes.

It is important to follow the order - first botulinum toxin injections are carried out, and after 2-3 months hyaluronic acid is injected. Another sequence of procedures is possible - this is decided by the cosmetologist. When the doctor and patient agree to perform biorevitalization first, the waiting period between procedures is reduced. After 3-4 weeks, you can finish the course with Botox injections.

Most of these contraindications are associated with the use of botulinum toxin in anti-aging procedures.

RECOVERY BOTULAX 50 UNITS

To restore the lyophilisate, use a 2.5 ml isotonic sodium chloride solution, draw it into a syringe and inject it with a needle through a rubber cap into a bottle with Botulax.

In the case when, in one procedure, first intramuscular and then intradermal administration of BTA is used, the drug in a standard concentration (1 division - 1 unit) is drawn in the required volume into a syringe, and then an equal volume of saline is added. Then one division of the insulin syringe corresponds to a dose of 0.5 units of Botulax.

Mixing the reconstituted BTA and HYALREPAIR®–04 Bioreparant: 20 units of Botulax (1 ml of solution) are taken into the syringe, then mixed with HYALREPAIR®–04 Bioreparant through the connector (Fig. 4)

.

After thoroughly mixing the preparations (on average, about 10 presses on the pistons), we leave the prepared solution in the bioreparant syringe.

What happens if you inject two drugs on the same day?

A pause is needed between sessions. If Botox injections and biorevitalization are carried out on the same day or with a short interval, then not only is the desired result not achieved, but complications almost always appear.

The most common is swelling. Botox slows down the metabolism, it does not allow hyaluronic acid to spread throughout the tissues and attract moisture when using two products simultaneously.

Another possible problem is an allergic reaction. Botulinum toxin injections reduce immunity. If soon after botulinum therapy a drug based on hyaluronic acid enters the body, allergic manifestations may begin.

The acceleration of metabolism, which occurs due to the action of hyaluronic acid, leads to a faster removal of botulinum toxin from the body.

Botox and hyaluronic acid neutralize each other's effect. The procedures are successfully combined and enhance each other’s effect when there is a long pause between them.

Rejuvenation and lifestyle3>

General recommendations after Botox and biorevitalization injections:

  • do not visit baths, saunas, swimming pools, gyms;
  • avoid going to the solarium and do not go out into the active sun;
  • eliminate physical activity, especially tilting your head down;
  • do not drink alcohol;
  • take warm or cool showers;
  • give up cosmetics for 2-3 days.

After injection biorevitalization, granulomas appear under the skin - small papules. Cosmetologists strictly prohibit squeezing them out. You can accidentally get an infection inside. Granulomas resolve on their own a few days after the session.

Do not apply mechanical force to the face in the first week after the procedure; such actions can lead to uneven distribution of drugs in the soft tissues. The most dangerous side effect is facial asymmetry, which cannot be corrected. Additional injections will make the situation worse.

Adjust your diet. Avoid foods that retain water in the body - dishes with a lot of salt and spices.

Follow all recommendations of the cosmetologist.

Fractional thermolysis and plasma lifting

Plasmolifting is successfully combined with fractional thermolysis both in laser rejuvenation procedures and in the treatment of acne and post-acne scars.

Plasmolifting is a subcutaneous injection of your own blood plasma. The names plasma therapy and prp therapy are also used.

The combined effect of plasma lifting with laser fractional rejuvenation is due to the fact that when exposed to laser, the dermal tissues are heated, and the plasma is activated when heated.

Prp therapy and fractional thermolysis procedures can be carried out in one step, provided that the doctor observes a number of precautions.

Thus, in some cases, the papular technique of introducing plasma (close to the surface of the skin) is unacceptable, since the laser affects the moisture evenly contained in the tissues and in the presence of subcutaneous papules with just injected plasma, a burn can occur. Therefore, if thermolifting is planned immediately after plasma therapy, then plasma injections are administered with such peculiar “bumps” - closer to the muscle, further than the depth of penetration of the laser beam.

With fractional neodymium (Nd) laser rejuvenation, small amounts of plasma may be injected before the procedure. Neodymium penetrates deeply, the plasma warms up. The feeling after such a procedure is like after tanning in a solarium: your face immediately acquires a healthy glow, after about 4 hours you feel a pleasant warmth in your face, and a lifting effect appears. Moreover, the procedure itself lasts only a few minutes.

When treating post-acne scars, you can inject plasma under the scars, then perform laser rejuvenation. Plasma is a powerful activator, contains many microelements and also enhances the immune system, the recovery process is more intense, scars are smoothed out faster.

Efficiency comparison

Each procedure has its own special effect on the skin and has a whole list of advantages and disadvantages. The difference in effectiveness of each method is detailed in the tables.

Botulinum therapyBiorevitalization
FaceliftEvening out complexion
Elimination of nasolabial foldsReturn of tissue tone
Smoothing out deep wrinklesSmoothing out fine wrinkles
Elimination of strabismusElimination of sagging skin areas
Muscle relaxationRestoration of water and electrolyte balance in tissues
Elimination of eyebrow asymmetryUniform distribution of subcutaneous fat
Eye shape correction, drooping eyelid liftFace oval tightening

General characteristics

Both procedures - biorevitalization and Dysport - are designed to improve the condition of the skin and rejuvenate the patient. Both types of injections eliminate facial wrinkles, but only the first method can smooth out only small “crow’s feet”. As a rule, both courses can be carried out 2 times a year, but in the case of the first use of Botox, 1 year must pass between its administration.

Common contraindications to the procedures include:

  • pregnancy and breastfeeding;
  • oncology;
  • exacerbation of herpes;
  • elevated temperature;
  • diabetes;
  • autoimmune diseases;
  • chronic diseases in the acute stage;
  • serious problems with the functioning of the heart, kidneys and liver;
  • exacerbation of inflammatory processes in the dermis in the area of invasive intervention.

If a woman has too many facial wrinkles around the eyes, between the eyebrows and on the forehead, then Dysport is recommended, which, by blocking muscle contraction, will prevent wrinkles from forming. Biorevitalization is more suitable when it is necessary to slow down the first signs of aging.

Indications for use

When trying to choose what suits you best: Botox or mesotherapy, it is impossible not to discuss the scope of application of both methods. The mesotherapy procedure is characterized by maximum versatility. It is used for:

  • wrinkles, sagging and other skin defects caused by the aging process;
  • oily skin with enlarged pores;
  • various diseases such as acne, rosacea;
  • overweight and cellulite.

Among other things, this technique can be used as an auxiliary technique for the treatment and restoration of skin after aggressive external intervention (for example, cosmetic peelings).

Indications for the use of mesotherapy - wrinkles, sagging and other skin defects caused by the aging process

The range of problems that Botox is designed to solve is not so diverse. It is primarily used to eliminate wrinkles, but can also be used to reduce sweating in certain areas of the body.

What is the difference

With age, the skin loses its elasticity and healthy appearance, and external products help only partially, without solving the problem. Then women turn to a cosmetologist, and they are faced with a choice - Dysport or biorevitalization.

Dysport is the injection of botulinum toxin A into the muscles, which paralyzes them. They stop shrinking, and even deep wrinkles disappear on the face. Because of this, facial expressions are disrupted - it is no longer possible to smile or frown at full strength. The procedure is similar to Botox, but different drugs are used. Dysport is produced in France and is slightly cheaper.

Biorevitalization is a subcutaneous injection of hyaluronic acid. The name consists of 3 components: “bio” - natural, “re” - renewal, “vita” - life.

Hyaluronic acid is a substance familiar to our body. It is responsible for retaining water molecules and moisturizing the skin, for its elastic, youthful appearance. After 25 years, the production of hyaluronic acid slows down, so it is necessary to replenish its reserves artificially.

Is it possible to perform both procedures on the same day?

The drugs affect different tissues, but this does not mean that they can be used simultaneously. Experts do not recommend combining these procedures and performing them on the same day .

What will be the consequences if carried out simultaneously?

Any injections cause a reaction in the body in the form of swelling, and carrying out two procedures at the same time increases the risk of severe and prolonged swelling of the face.

Botulinum toxin immobilizes the muscle and slows down metabolic processes, while the action of hyaluronic acid is aimed at uniform distribution under the skin and “attracting” a large amount of moisture. So Botox literally negates the effect of biorevitalization.

Recommendations before the Botox procedure

At the very beginning, the doctor will invite you for a detailed consultation. He needs to obtain detailed information about the person’s face and body

It is very important to rule out any side effects and also get answers to the following questions:

  • how many times have you had Botox before;
  • presence of pregnancy or lactation;
  • presence of serious diseases;
  • the presence of allergic reactions to medications;
  • current drug therapy.

The doctor will ask in detail what effect the patient expects from the procedure. The latter needs to indicate which areas are of most concern. In some situations, it is additionally recommended to undergo other anti-aging procedures. You need to be frank with the doctor; you cannot keep silent about any secret.

You should stop taking blood thinning medications several weeks before the procedure. Try to limit vitamin E, ibuprofen, aspirin, and fish oil. This will help reduce the risk of possible complications. Ban yourself from alcohol for a few days.
