Lip guide: shape and photos of lip augmentation using different techniques. Choose!

So, how can you change the natural shape and size of your lips? Does this always require correction? What is best to choose – thread lifting or laser rejuvenation of the lip area? How to get beautiful lips and not become a duck? If you choose a competent specialist, then the possibilities of contour plastic surgery in our time are almost limitless. With its help, you can remove congenital asymmetry, give the desired volume, etc. In addition, modern plastic surgery can successfully place accents, making the face more sculpted. It is very important to work with your face in a comprehensive manner. If you only hypercorrect the lip area, then the nasolabial folds will be very pronounced.

How to choose the right drug?

This is a question of the professionalism of the doctor or cosmetologist; it is when visiting an aesthetic medicine clinic that the drug is selected based on your wishes and expectations. Most often, special preparations based on hyaluronic acid are used for this, which create the required volume well. To correct changes that appear with age, a liquid filler is used, which is injected into wrinkles.

What an adequate doctor will not do

Lera: Did your girlfriends come and ask you to break the milliliter in half?

Natalya: Of course, they came, but I never did that. Because there is a microcosm, different viruses and, perhaps, some unstudied particles that I can transplant from friend to friend. Or yesterday a patient wrote to me: “Hello, Natalya Alexandrovna. I made an appointment with you, bought the drug myself, and will bring it to you. Will you inject me? An adequate doctor will not do such things either. After all, the brought drugs of unknown origin may turn out to be fake, and this is fraught.

Golden ratio for lip augmentation

In this area there is a golden ratio and its own standards. According to them, the lips after plastic surgery should have a clearly defined triangle on the upper lip. If the doctor administered more of the drug during surgery than necessary, you will end up with two thick sausages. The ideal proportions of the lower and upper lips are “one to three”. This is the natural difference and seductive “kissing lips”.

Thread lifting

This technique is used to rejuvenate and add volume to the lips. Special threads preserve the natural appearance of the lips without creating over-puffiness. By choosing this technology, the patient removes wrinkles above the lip that form due to sun rays. With the help of mesothreads it is possible to make the labial border clearly defined. Lip modeling using threads will take about ten minutes, and the effect is noticeable literally immediately after the procedure, and it will be visible for at least three years. This procedure can be performed at the age of twenty-five years.

Contraindications

There are really few contraindications for the use of hyaluronic acid:

  • inflammatory processes in the injection area,
  • herpes,
  • oncology,
  • autoimmune diseases.

Review

“I used to be against “unnatural” interventions in the body, such as hair extensions, breast augmentation and lip reshaping. But the enthusiastic recommendations of my friends did their job, and I made an appointment with Andrei Alexandrovich. The volume needed to be adjusted.

The lip pumping itself lasts about 10 minutes. After the procedure, the numbness went away quickly. And by the evening the lips looked smooth, there was no trace left of the injections

.

For the first 3-4 days they were quite swollen, the swelling completely disappeared on the 7th day.

I can't say that the procedure is pleasant. But for the sake of the result, believe me, it’s worth being patient. I always wanted to wear bright makeup before. Now your lips are plump, smooth, and red lipstick looks great.

My opinion about this procedure is that filling is worth doing. If there are no problems with your lips, but you want to make them more expressive, don’t go too far - pumping 1 syringe of 0.8 ml is enough. And girls with “duck lips” pump 3-4 syringes, now I understand it))

The effect of voluminous lips lasted for 9 months.”

Rejuvenation of the lip area using laser

This procedure is absolutely safe, which has already been proven more than once by tests. During the procedure, the specialist treats the skin of the lips, as well as the nasolabial triangle, with five different types of laser. The procedure will help rejuvenate the skin around the lips. At the same time, the laser renews tissue well, stimulating collagen production. And even with the highest quality fillers, your lips will not look as natural as after laser. Moreover, this is a 100% natural result that lasts for a very long time.

Fears and reality

It's no secret that many of us prefer to suffer from imperfect appearance all our lives, afraid to see a doctor. Let's see what you shouldn't be afraid of.

Pain.

Much depends on your personal pain threshold, which is different for everyone. As a rule, injections with modern drugs are not very painful. Most often, we are not talking about pain, but about the unpleasant sensations that arise when the drug is distributed in the lip area.

However, any lip surgery is done with some kind of anesthesia. In case of severe pain, so-called “dental” anesthesia is performed, which completely removes all unpleasant sensations.

As for the postoperative period, then, of course, the lips hurt immediately after hyaluronic acid - just like after the freeze applied during dental treatment wears off. The painful sensations pass very quickly.

Swelling and bruising.

Indeed, after the lip augmentation procedure, swelling occurs, which goes away within a few days or even hours. Some patients notice lumps or balls in their lips in the first hours, which then disappear as the drug is distributed in the lips. As for hematomas, they do not always appear. Their presence or absence is directly related to the level of professionalism of the doctor. Small bruises can appear on everyone, but after a couple of days they are quite successfully hidden under a layer of lipstick.

The result will not be noticeable or will not meet expectations.

After the procedure, the doctor does not say goodbye to you; you will remain under his supervision for some time. If necessary, the lips are adjusted after two weeks to achieve exactly the effect you originally wanted.

A guide to innovative lip remodeling techniques

The choice of procedures for lip correction is more than extensive. Naturally, the final decision is up to the specialist after assessing your wishes and skin condition. However, for a general understanding, we suggest that you familiarize yourself with the basic lip correction techniques so that you understand what you should expect:

Linear technique with contour filling.

In other words, this method is called classical. It allows you to enlarge your lips, giving them a clear contour. In this case, the drug is injected under the skin, filling the missing volume.

Hollywood volume.

Allows you to get the natural effect of natural plump lips, the so-called kissing lips effect.

French sponges.

With this technique, hyaluronic acid is injected around the perimeter of the lips. The center and corners of the mouth are not affected. This innovative technique makes it possible to obtain a bow shape without unnecessary unnatural volume.

Angel wings.

With this method, the drug is distributed in such a way that the bulk of the volume is concentrated in the very center of the upper lip. As a result, the corners of the mouth will be noticeably narrower, giving the face an innocence, and the lips will resemble the image of a young girl. This effect is often called “unkissed lips.”

Pearlique.

This technique is the opposite of the famous “Angel Wings”. The drug itself is injected into the area of the lower lip, as a result it becomes much larger compared to the upper lip. After this procedure, the face visually looks much softer, the features are more delicate and refined.

Beautiful lips will help you gain self-confidence and your own irresistibility. Modern techniques make it possible to create your own ideal version of lips, emphasizing the features of your appearance. Such lips will be neither artificial nor unnatural and will give you a lot of admiring glances. It is possible and even necessary to enlarge your lips, but it is better to do it wisely and without going overboard.

Efficiency

The use of aesthetic methods for correction of the oral zone allows you to achieve:

  • increasing tissue volume;
  • shape correction;
  • eliminating asymmetry;
  • improving skin condition;
  • smoothing out wrinkles.

A face with changed lips looks more youthful, a beautiful mouth line attracts more attention. Correction often helps to balance proportions.

Lip contouring: how long does it last and when can the procedure be repeated?

In some cases, the result lasts up to one and a half years, and on average – six months. To maintain the effect as long as possible, you must follow certain rules.

Doctors are of the strong opinion that it is necessary to carry out the next series of injections with hyaluronate once every 6-9 months (the period depends primarily on the individual properties of the body and on how quickly the injected gel is absorbed specifically for you). And also from your desire for the desired effect, since if you do not repeat the injections, your lips will return to their previous volume and shape. Along with them, no matter how much we would like to admit it, the wrinkles and imperfections that we would so much like to get rid of will return. Since hyaluronic acid is a natural substance in our body, repeated series of injections will be safe for the body. True, there are patients who after a couple of months ask for a second increase, although they still have the effect of the first series of injections. Think about the fact that frequent injections can cause skin injury and scarring on the lips. Everything is good in moderation.

The benefits of correcting and reshaping the lip contour with hyaluronic acid.

  • If you want quick results, then this procedure is for you. A slight swelling lasts for several days (usually 1-2), then it actively subsides.
  • The recovery period is minimal, after 5-10 days you will appreciate an excellent result that will delight you for many months.
  • The procedure is safe if all the above requirements are met. The reliability of the clinic and the qualifications of the doctor play an important role.
  • The naturalness of the composition minimizes the occurrence of allergic reactions and other side effects in the form of scars.
  • There are no age restrictions as such (but it is recommended not to do these injections under 18 years of age).
  • Combination with other cosmetic and aesthetic procedures.

7th place. Surgical method

Some defects can only be corrected through plastic surgery. This is asymmetry, consequences of injury, drooping lower lip. Of all the methods we have chosen, this is the most dangerous. Despite this, they are used not only for medical reasons - they are also placed on the surgical table in order to simply make the lips bigger.

There are several methods:

1. Bullhorn . The essence of the operation is to reduce the distance from the upper lip to the base of the nose. To do this, a small piece of skin is excised, the edges of the incision are stitched, the upper lip is turned out a little, becoming wider and more seductive. An incision is made either along the edge of the lip or under the nose.

2. YV technique . The surgeon removes several V-shaped sections of skin under the upper lip, which are then stitched together in a Y shape. As a result, the lip is pushed forward - the volume is visually increased.

3. Parisian technique . This is an improved YV technique. The surgeon makes not only horizontal, but also vertical incisions in the lip cavity. After the operation, the lips become expressive and look natural.

It is worth emphasizing that all of the above operations require specialist consultation. They are done under both local and general anesthesia. After surgery, rehabilitation takes from 7 days to 2 months.

Cost: from 50 to 100 thousand rubles.
