He explained that there are several types of implants for breast augmentation, as well as methods for inserting them. Vadim Egorov himself recommends making an incision under the breast - it heals faster, and the scar is not visible in the crease. There is also a method of breast enlargement using your own fat, but it is used extremely rarely.

“It is used if a girl wants a slight increase and has a sufficient amount of adipose tissue. To achieve a good result, you need to carry out several procedures. Not all of the fat survives; some of it is absorbed. And during the transfer, not all living tissue is preserved - up to 50% can be lost,” said the plastic surgeon.

According to him, along with breast augmentation, breast reduction surgeries are also in demand. Too large (size five and above) causes many problems, and plastic surgery is the most effective way to get rid of pain in the back, neck and chest. Patients with the problem of “saggy” breasts also seek surgical correction.

“This is a wonderful operation, and there is no need to insert implants: you can make a beautifully shaped gland from your own tissue. Moreover, recovery after such manipulations occurs much faster than with the introduction of an implant,” the expert noted.

He added that men resort to operations less often: as a rule, they come for eyelid surgery, sometimes for liposuction with figure correction.

“If we talk about children, then only one operation is common here, because minors are only allowed to undergo it - this is ear plastic surgery. At eight years old, the ear is fully formed, and it is we, plastic surgeons, who correct the problem of protruding ears,” explains Vadim Egorov.

She explains: in psychiatry there is a diagnosis of “dysmorphophobia” - this is an incorrect perception of one’s own body. For example, when a person is thin, but in the mirror he sees himself as fat. Or he may think that his lips, for example, are not pumped up enough.
